We know that some customers applying for car finance may have a low credit rating for various reasons, and often it's through no fault of their own. We also understand that regardless of your credit history you may still be able to afford the monthly repayments on a car loan, that's why we look at your current circumstances and your ability to make repayments on a car loan. We have accepted many customers in the past who have been declined for car finance everywhere else. We cater for:

Pre-approved funding

Many of our customers choose to arrange their funding with us by phone or email before they come to visit us. That way you can in many cases drive your new car away the same day you view it. The application only takes 5 minutes.

 

Docklands Motor Co Ltd are trading as a credit broker and not a lender, and are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference 653482. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders, while providing details of finance products available.

We will not charge you a fee for an introduction, but will typically receive a commission from the lender. Lender’s commissions may vary, we will either receive a fixed fee or a percentage of the amount you borrow. Complaints

There are several ways to make a complaint. You can contact us on the phone or face to face, or you can send your enquiry to us in a letter or an email to sales@docklandsmotorcompany.co.uk Upon receipt, we will refer your complaint to the individual/department best equipped to respond to your complaint.

Your complaint will be thoroughly investigated and we will provide you with the outcome of such investigations as soon as possible (please allow 7-10 working days for a formal written response). Where appropriate, you will receive details of any proposed action to resolve the reported issues and if necessary, you will be given an apology.

If you are not happy with our response, and you are an eligible complainant, you can escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman, you must do so within six months of the date of the final response letter.
