    Typically I've never had issues with a dealer when buying car and docklands motor company hast let down, its the after sales customer service in the event something should go wrong is the test. In my experiences I feel more confident that Dockland would show more willing to help than the past dealers I've dealt with. He seems a genuine guy and yes I would recommend at this stage.

    I recently purchased an Audi Q7 from Docklands Motors after seeing it online and receiving a few detailed videos. I decided to make the trip all the way from Scotland, and I’m glad I did — the car was exactly as described and in excellent condition. The team took me for a test drive, and the whole process from start to finish was smooth and professional. There was no pressure to buy, just honest and helpful service. I would highly recommend Docklands Motors and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again.

    Be careful of your trade-in!

    Just be careful of what these offer on a trade-in! I got offered well below the px value! They asked what I wanted for the car, but the trade-in price was already done on the trade-in value! Not the way to sell a car!

As part of our standard process, we ask all customers for key details about their part exchange, including how much they’re looking to achieve and whether the vehicle has any warning lights or faults. These are routine questions that help us provide an accurate and fair valuation. You mentioned that a trade-in price had already been given — however, this was an estimated guide from Auto Trader, not a formal offer from us. It’s also worth noting that important information such as the vehicle having had six previous owners was not disclosed in that guide. This would significantly affect the valuation, particularly on a low-mileage, early-registration vehicle like yours. Having reviewed the conversation between you and our team, it’s clear that the discussion became unproductive. In hindsight, we believe it was for the best that no transaction took place between yourself and Docklands Motor Company. For the sake of transparency, we’ve included the full message exchange below so others can judge the interaction for themselves. DMC -Good Morning T*** Thank you for your part exchange enquiry on our website. Why would a 21 plate have warning lights on? It's done 30k less miles than your car, considering they are both 21 plate cars, so less wear on my car! Customer - How much will you offer? DMC - Around £24,000 Customer - lam glad I was sitting down when you sent me that! Not a chance! Good luck with the sale, but after that offer, as they say on dragons den! I am out! DMC - Thats why we asked how much you want for your car Customer - No one has asked before! But made a sensible offer! As I have said, I am out! DMC - It was valued according to having 6 owners for a 21 plate car with 21k miles. DMC - Screenshot of we buy any car valuation provided at £22,800 DMC - As a comparison to other car valuation sites Customer - We rip your off, you mean! Customer - Screenshot of auto trader valuation provided at £26,777 omitting the vehicle having 6 owners and 1 key. Customer - You will have been sent that value on the px section! As I have said, I am out! Customer - Ownership doesn't affect the value! Mileage plays a big part in value, and so does service history and the condition of a car. Them extra 30k miles that the car has on is equivalent to about 6 years' worth of driving for me! I only do roughly 6000 miles a year. Good luck with the sale, I hope you don't buy a house, on how many people have owned it before you! And it should be 5 owners. One will have been the dealership, and the other 4 is roughly correct, one owner per year. I keep my cars for roughly 12 months, so nothing unusual about that! Just remember to check how many people have owned your next house. My car 2 owners more, and 30,000 less miles. There is no need to reply. You might want to check the px value on your page from now on! DMC - No worries pal. Good luck with your purchase of your next vehicle Customer - I am going to modify the engine. It will cost less than a trade-in.

    Very friendly professional service from this Company! Saj, Michael and Imran were extremely efficient and obliging…..we bought a lovely low mileage BMW M2 and part exchanged our treasured BMW M4!     Can’t fault my experience with Docklands Motors

    When I saw the calibre of vehicle these guys sell and the positive reviews they have, I was happy to buy my next car from them. My BMW was sat out back hidden behind a newer vehicle. I was trusted to pull the car out to take a proper look around. It’s one of the older vehicles that would probably not normally make it to their forecourt, however the car is in such great condition they were selling it themselves. I was happy to take the plunge with my 420d Xdrive with 100300 miles on the clock. The car is a credit to its previous owner and will hopefully last me a good few years. I got a decent part ex price for my old Audi even with an expiring MOT and numerous MOT failures. The guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure selling and Michael was happy to answer any post purchase questions via watsapp and telephone. I’d happily go back when I’m ready to upgrade my car in the future.

    Deceitful

    Did not spot the displaced sill as was hard to see unless viewed fro an odd angle. Told company the car had not been in any incident or out of my sight or from my security cameras which all indicated nobody had been near car so 100% must have been a problem before collected. They just said - tough not our problem. You judge a company by its after sales - this one is awful and rude as they basically called my history of the events a lie.

    Hi John, Disappointed with the feed back that you have left us after such a positive sale. You purchased a vehicle from us. You viewed the vehicle in our indoor, fully lit and dry showroom. You were left alone to inspect the vehicle at your own accord which you took approximately 45 mins to view. You even took out a tape measure to measure dimensions on the vehicle. After you were satisfied, you rang us a few days later to proceed with the sale. No pressure at any point was put on you to purchase the vehicle. You then rang us a week later insinuating there is damage to the sill of the vehicle which was already there at the point of sale. This was unrealistic as we would have noticed this ourselves and you would have also, given the time you took to inspect the vehicle. If it was there and was brought to our attention, we could have rectified the apparent problem prior to collection. You also rang us the day after this stating "Hi Michael, i think ive solved the mystery. You won't be hearing from me again". You mentioned on the phone call that the vehicle went to a company to have a GHOST immobiliser fitted. The company you used confirmed they ran the wiring through the sill on the vehicle and you were to return to them to have it rectified. You then rang us back again after this to state the company who fit the immobiliser have now mentioned they didn't run the wiring through that sill and they misunderstood the problem. You mentioned in your review the vehicle has not been out of your sight, yet it was sent to a third party for the immobiliser to be fitted. You also mentioned we said 'tough not our problem' and called your 'history of events a lie'. At no point have we ever said the above and we can confirm that with our recorded conversations and email transcript. Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for cosmetic damages on your vehicle after you have purchased it. The damage could have happened at any point and at any time so you cannot be '100%' sure it was there already. You initially blamed us, then your immobiliser company then back to us again. You had ample time to inspect the vehicle and no doubt you would have noticed any cosmetic defects on the vehicle. We believe you were happy with our service up until this, we hope you would consider us again in the future.
